Mr and Mrs Godbold

On Saturday 21st September I had the great honour of covering my friend Kerri's marriage to her lovely fiancé Simon.

It was an early start for me - being up and dressed and ready to leave the house by 8:30am is no mean feat when you're a mother of a toddler and a 2 month old!! Thank goodness I had my husband on hand to help!

I arrived at Kerri's and was greeted by a very calm but nervous bride. Capturing the moments where she's getting ready and being amongst the hustle and bustle of everything going on was a real privilege.

Then it was off to meet the boys at the pub (where else?!) where I found an extremely nervous but handsome looking groom.

The ceremony took place at Thetford registry office and was a very lovely intimate affair.

After the ceremony the formal family shots took place in the registry office's beautiful gardens then it was off to Banham for the rest of the festivities.

Congratulations Kerri and Simon and thank you for letting me be part of your special day.

Families and weddings

On Saturday 14th September  I had the great pleasure of attending my sister in law Amy's wedding.

My little Cadence was a beautiful bridesmaid and the hubby was an usher.

I absolutely adore weddings and family weddings are just that little bit more special.

Sadly I wasn't the official photographer for the day but I think that makes it better and easier to enjoy a family occasion. And enjoy it we did :-)

The bride looked absolutely beautiful and so did everyone to be honest. Even I managed to scrub up well for the occasion!!

What do you think?!

After a lovely long day we danced and boogied the night away and had lots of fun!

Looking forward to this Saturday when I get to photograph the Godbold wedding!! EEEK!!

Post holiday blues

A couple of weeks ago, the husband and I took our 2 little girls on holiday, camping in the Peak District!

After a blustery few days the lovely sunshine came out and we had great fun exploring all the little villages and surrounding areas. We took them both up to the top of Peveril castle where we had a lovely time looking at the ruins and running around the grounds.

We also took Cadence to find Nemo at Matlock Bath aquarium!
